Deck Stain Was Removed
posted 2007 Jul by Elizabeth Reynolds
We had a customer come up to us once while working a show at Canton Trade Days. Our booth was small, but he sought us out to ask if we could get deck stain out of his Aggie Ring. We hadn’t even thought of Aggie Ring Cleaner at the time, and I was skeptical our cleaner could remove deck stain since it is non-toxic. He left his ring with us and we went after it. We soaked it for about 30 minutes and then scrubbed it with a toothbrush. After some diligence, the Aggie Ring deck stain was removed. Our ring cleaner surprised even us! Now I can’t promise Reflections Ring Cleaner will reverse your jewelry damage, but you never know. If you wonder if it will work, contact us and let’s talk about it.”
Hope your summer is great!

Keeping Jewelry Clean is an Investment
posted 2006 Jul by Elizabeth Reynolds
When I was eight years old, my Mother, Ferne Greene, began teaching me the importance of keeping jewelry clean. She taught me how to use jewelry cleaner, albeit one filled with ammonia and strong soaps, using a small brush and running water. She was a “jewelry hound” as we say, and enjoyed having me stand on a stool at our kitchen sink and clean her jewelry for hours. What a joyous family memory for me, as well as a teaching tool for Ferne to build self esteem and confidence in me.
Through our regular conversations while cleaning jewelry, she impressed on me that I would be a more confident adult if my jewelry was clean and shining. She felt that it would reflect to others that I cared about grooming, about myself and about them, as well. She instilled in me that proper jewelry care is a responsibility when one owns beautiful assets like jewelry. So my love for jewelry, and my passion for keeping jewelry clean began at a very young age. All through my college years, I cleaned jewelry for my hallmates in the dorms. In 1969, I moved to a large city and discovered a non-ammonia cleaner at a Home & Garden Show. While far from perfect, I purchased some for myself and mailed some to my Mother. She was just thrilled!
So it was long overdue that I worked with a great chemist to develop my own line of cleaners that exceeded the quality of anything I could find in the marketplace. For some of us the obvious isn’t quite so obvious, and it takes us awhile to realize that sharing the things we love with others can bring a whole lot of joy and satisfaction. I hope you enjoy my creation as much as I do, and I hope you will pass down to your children both your jewelry and the importance of cleaning it.
Reflections Mentioned on Squidoo

Shopify is the system we use for our ecommerce and content creation. We moved our site over in June 2006 to this cool platform and have had a lot of success with it so far. Then today Rob Palmer, a self-proclaimed “stay at home dad and fan of shopify” was kind enough to mention Reflections Jewelry Cleaner on his Squidoo Lens about Shopify Resources. There are quite a few other stores using Shopify now as well. He has a list you can check out if you like.
